Duty Calls
Excerpt:
Sean was standing outside the army recruitment office, he had always wanted to be a soldier
even from a small age. Most of his friends had joined the army, and had been sent to IRAQ. As
he waited outside he took some cigarettes from his coat pocket, he took one from the box and lit
it. Just then the door opened and out walked an officer, he told Sean to come inside after he had
had his smoke. As Sean inhaled on his cigarette, he looked at the posters on the window beside
him, “Uncle Sam needs you” one of them said, the other poster showed the grim reaper with the
saying “Join the Elite, fight in IRAQ”.
